Did Hippes Wear Bandanas

"The blog is the best channel to get someone "Lina

E nterview to Fernando Candeias *, a prominent journalist Sports radio, which carries out its multimedia blog Informatica On-Line.

How did you decide to start your blog?
Informatica On-Line began on December 1, 2006. Completed the University and willing to translate into "somewhere" those things you have to say, I realized that a blog was the best channel to reach someone. At first the idea was to analyze or trassmistir those with internationally important news giving his own personal approach, ie removing all the vices that can have a news product that comes through. Over time the blog was running until I decided to give a broader approach to to reach from the tools provided by the Internet, to a larger venue. So I was adding videos, podcasts, photo albums, banners, widgets, google ads (Ad sense), statistical analysis (Analytics), published online (through Calameo), followers, Twitter, which is essential in today's journalism and daily updates which, over time, I increased the number of visits.

What motivates to take it forward?
I think the motivation comes from the vocation. You love to journalism and communication and blog, in this case, is a place to download everything that you perceive or, needs to transmit. I feel the commitment to maintain it for those who read the blog to be 1, 10, 500 or more. There is always someone that browsing, you can reach Informatica On-Line and the idea is not to go. Hence the diversity of subjects offered by the blog, it can be good (as one can get looking for different themes) and bad (because one does not go directly to Informatica On-Line to find something specific about a topic) ... my intention is to provide a magazine online, where one arrives and can "flip" a piacere taste and find a bit of everything.

How do you see the progress of sports blogs versus traditional media? I
still, at least in Argentina, there is a culture of information through a blog. There are lots of great sports blogs provide content hierarchy that you can not find in traditional media, but I think that has not yet managed to overcome that barrier of "credibility", as it somehow, you can have a blog. Many times you do not know who as the authors use pseudonyms, but with perseverance and updated content, a blog can get, little by little, a favorite of many users of the Internet and start being a channel of information on consumers of sports.

What did you learn to be blogger?
Phew ... Where to start! I think basically, you learn there are no barriers when communicating. You do not have the magnitude of places you can reach through search engines and also through social networks like Twitter, a tweet may promote a posting or subscribing to Tweet Feed automatically your Twitter followers can be updated regarding the contents of your blog. You learn to communicate in a new language that is used on the Internet, where the eye of the reader functions as a scanner and one, from writing, you have to give indicators to guide the content that you're transmitting these indicators ... are: bold, italics, colors, captions, photos, videos, graphics and hyperlinks, among other things. One also is receiving what blog readers look for the contents they provide, regardless of what each one offers. But no doubt, being a blogger learn step by step, post a comment and comment posting.
