I'm relieved that Apocalypto
not intended to be a historical film, full of exaggerations and taken to the end of the post. Is more basic, focusing on a simple and familiar story, but heartbreaking. It is the story of the Mayan Empire, and that seems a wise choice.

is a good action movie and drama, despite its director.
